Bible FAQ’s

Bible Question? Here are some commonly asked ones.

R

Is there really life after death?

Yes! Death is the end of one life and the beginning of another.

John 3:15 “That whosoever believeth in him (Jesus) should not perish, but have eternal life.”

R

Is there really life after death?

A real place of rest and peace, streets of gold, a crystal clear sea-and much more! Jesus said, “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.” John 14:2

R

Do people really suffer in Hell?

Yes-people really do and there is no relief in that place of judgment. Jesus told a story about a man that died and went to Hell in Luke chapter 16.

Luke 16:22-23 “…the rich man also died, and was buried;… And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.”

R

What about sincere people in other religions?

You can be sincere but be sincerely wrong.

John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

R

Why does God allow people to suffer?

Suffering, sickness, and death are only part of life because of sin.

Romans 5:12 “Wherefore, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”

R

Do I have to be baptized to go to Heaven?

No, you do not. You can certainly go to Heaven when you die without being baptized although the Bible says that you should be baptized after being saved. Thankfully, according to Scripture, you can be saved in the ICU, in the ER, in a desert or in any other place that would make baptism by immersion impossible.

Romans 5:1 “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:…”

Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us,…”
