There is HOPE for you, and that HOPE is Jesus!
You have seen the billboard and now you are here! Do not go away yet!

There Is Hope, No Matter How Hopeless It May Seem

That hope is found in the Lord Jesus Christ!

That hope can be yours today!
The Bible says in Job 14:1, “Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble.”
Isn’t that the truth! Sickness, pain, debt, marriage problems, addiction, loneliness, depression, and death. Sounds to me like “…few days, and full of trouble.”
And when you face these troubles, you start to feel anxious, stressed, frustrated and overwhelmed. And it goes on and on, day after day. So much so that after a while your situation and your life seem hopeless.
First, let’s get something straight….

There are many things in this world that offer hope but they are just like putting a small band-aid on a large, open wound. It is never enough to fix the problem. In other words, there are many things that will treat the symptom without ever curing the disease. There has to be something more and there is! Consider the following 3 points taken from God’s Holy Word, the Bible.
#1 There is hope for you – no matter how hopeless it seems!
Jesus said in John 3:15-16, “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
The Bible says “whosoever”! That means YOU! No matter how far away from God you are, there is HOPE in Jesus Christ!
Jesus also said in John 6:37, “All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.”
#2 That hope is found in the Lord Jesus Christ!
Jesus said in John 14:6, “…I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Also, in John 6:47, Jesus clearly stated, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.”
“…Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Acts 16:31
Jesus was God “manifest in the flesh”. Jesus was not just another religious leader, He was not just another prophet, Jesus was God. John 1:1
Jesus was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life. His life was filled with spreading the good news of salvation and helping those who were helpless.
The Lord Jesus was falsely accused, whipped, beaten, mocked, and crucified on a cross outside of Jerusalem.
However, death could not hold Him, because Jesus is God. On the third day, He arose from the grave!
BUT WHY? Why did Jesus come to Earth, why did He allow Himself to be arrested, tortured, and crucified?
Jesus did all that because He loves YOU. He gave His life on the cross so that your sins could be forgiven.
“Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world…” Galatians 1:4
Jesus did all that to give you HOPE in this life and HOPE in the life to come.
#3 That hope can be yours today!
The choice is YOURS to make! You must decide for yourself.
You can receive Jesus and have hope in this life and in the life to come.
Or… you can reject Him and spend the rest of your life under the judgment of God and your eternity in Hell.
“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” John 3:36
The choice is YOURS to make.
In Luke 13:3, Jesus said, “…except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”
To repent is to believe that God’s Word is true, to recognize that you are a guilty sinner, and accept that you need the Lord. Acts 20:21
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9
WHat Do I Do Next?
After deciding to repent, you must put your faith in Jesus Christ to save your soul.
-
- Believe that Jesus is Who He said He is.
- Believe that He died on a cross and shed His blood for your sins.
- Believe that He rose from the grave three days later.
- Believe that only Jesus Christ can save you and forgive your sins – not a church, not a priest, not a religion, not baptism, not being good. Jesus and Jesus alone can save you. Ephesians 2:8-9
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13
Now then, if you believe that Jesus can save you, you could say a prayer like this:
“Dear God, I know that I have sinned against you and deserve to be punished in Hell. I do believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay for all my sins and I believe that He rose from the grave. As best as I know how, I’m asking you right now to forgive me and to save me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
If you have prayed that prayer and truly meant it in your heart-you have the HOPE that only Jesus can give!
HOPE in this life – Jesus will lead you and guide you every step of the way.
HOPE in the life to come – a future in Heaven with God Himself.
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” John 5:24
